Job Opportunity
Primoris Energy Services is seeking skilled Craft Professionals to join our team in Sherman, Texas. This role involves performing various construction and maintenance tasks on energy-related projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute assigned construction and maintenance tasks according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform welding, fitting, pipe fitting, electrical, or other specialized craft work as required by the project.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as OSHA regulations.
- Inspect work for quality and compliance with project standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other craft professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to immediate supervision.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience in a relevant craft (e.g., welder, pipefitter, electrician, millwright) within the construction or energy industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in operating hand and power tools safely.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in a construction environment.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Sherman, Texas.
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., welding certifications) are a plus.
