Finisher

The Finisher at Primoris Energy Services is responsible for performing the final stages of construction and repair projects, ensuring a high-quality finish and adherence to project specifications. This role involves various finishing tasks, contributing to the overall aesthetic and structural integrity of our energy infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply finishing materials such as concrete, asphalt, sealants, and coatings to surfaces.
• Smooth and level surfaces using hand tools and power equipment.
• Perform grading and compaction of various materials.
• Assist with the installation and repair of concrete forms, rebar, and other structural components.
• Operate small construction equipment such as walk-behind compactors, concrete saws, and tampers.
• Ensure proper curing and protection of finished surfaces.
• Inspect work for quality and adherence to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other crew members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in construction finishing, concrete work, or a related field.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with construction materials and finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
