Carpenter Position

Primoris Energy Services is seeking skilled Carpenters to perform a variety of construction and maintenance tasks involving wood, concrete, and other materials on industrial and commercial projects in Sherman, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Install doors, windows, and various fixtures and trim.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Carpenter, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, methods, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all OSHA regulations.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
