We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Sherman, TX. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Competitive CompensationCompetitive compensation package of $16.00–$20.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
- Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform other duties as required.
- 21 years or older.
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, often alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day) and frequently walk long distances on possible sloped or uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds and lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing job duties and tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
