Part-Time Paratransit Operator

Driver

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Sherman, TX. As a key member, you will ensure safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Competitive compensation package of $16.00–$20.00 per hour.

• Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Provide exceptional care and assistance toward passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation for all.
• Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.

• 21 years or older.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and a physical examination if applicable.

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, often alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance, and occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to retrieve items at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing job duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.

• Eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
