Junior Field Environmental Scientist

Advance your career at MEMS as a Junior Field Environmental Scientist specializing in comprehensive fieldwork and data management. This role provides robust training and mentorship while working on-site.

Your position, available in either Sherwood Park or Grande Prairie, supports environmental project execution through the planning and conduct of ESAs and sampling tasks. Collaborate with senior staff on generating technical documents and ensure all field operations meet industry standards for safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support planning and execution of field programs

• Conduct soil, groundwater, and vapour monitoring

• Compile data and prepare technical documentation

• Develop project work plans and cost estimates

• Engage in safety and mentorship programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or similar

• 1-2 years of relevant consulting experience

• Must meet access requirements for client sites

• Knowledge of industry best practices and guidelines

• Strong detail orientation and independent working skills
