Junior Environmental Scientist at MEMS

MEMS is hiring a Junior Environmental Scientist to conduct fieldwork and data analysis while developing your technical skills and safety leadership. This hybrid role allows for substantial on-site experience.

Located in Sherwood Park or Grande Prairie, you will participate in environmental assessments by conducting sampling, documenting data, and assisting project teams in meeting client expectations. Your proactive approach to mentorship will build your foundational skills aligned with MEMS values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field programs for environmental assessments

• Perform monitoring and sampling at diverse locations

• Organize field data and prepare analytical reports

• Assist in proposal and work plan development

• Seek ongoing mentorship from experienced staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related

• 1-2 years of experience in relevant assessments

• Must meet safety and access requirements

• Familiarity with environmental guidelines and practices

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
