Position: Utilities Equipment Operator Needed at Recon Groundworks
Contribute to impactful utility projects as a Utilities Equipment Operator at Recon Groundworks. Your heavy equipment expertise will ensure efficient and safe installation of underground telecommunications.

Recon Groundworks is looking for an experienced operator with a minimum of 5 years in heavy equipment usage. You will skillfully operate various machinery, oversee hazardous assessments, and maintain rigorous safety compliance on-site. This role emphasizes professional interactions while working on vital utility installations and requires a commitment to safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Skillfully operate a variety of heavy equipment

• Conduct continuous safety and hazard evaluations

• Perform comprehensive pre-trip inspections

• Document safety efforts and production efforts

• Assist in identifying buried utilities before excavation

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience in equipment operation

• Class 5 driver’s license essential

• Knowledge of underground utilities installation

• Familiar with mini-excavators, trenchers, and skid steers

• Ground Disturbance safety certification an asset
