Millwright for Blackstone Industrial

Join Blackstone Industrial as a Millwright and use your expertise on maintenance and field projects across Canada. This role supports various sites, requiring flexibility and travel.

As a Millwright, you will work from first-year apprentice to Journeyman, handling projects for heavy oil, petrochemical, and power generation industries. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will be expected to work both independently and within a team while maintaining a commitment to excellence and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues accurately

• Disassemble and reassemble machinery for repairs

• Conduct preventative maintenance to avert breakdowns

• Maintain an organized and safe workspace

Requirements:

• Completed recognized Millwright apprenticeship program

• Experience with compressors, pumps, and fans

• Strong hoisting & rigging skills

• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals

• Valid class 5 driver’s license
