Position: Fall Employment for Tank Cleaning Technicians
Vertex is offering temporary fall positions for skilled apprentices in Pipe fitting, Welding, and Boilermaking within our Tank Cleaning Division. Gain hands-on experience with confined space entry and safety-critical operations.

This opportunity is perfect for motivated trades apprentices seeking real-world industrial exposure in Fort McMurray, AB. You'll join experienced teams and enhance your skills in challenging environments, crucial for future apprenticeship success. Positions are project-based with varying September start dates, providing an excellent platform for building your resume and gaining practical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in confined spaces for up to two hours

• Wash and drain tank interiors using pressure washers

• Participate in energy isolation device installation and removal

• Rig in ventilation and wash equipment as needed

• Report conditions within confined spaces accurately

Requirements:

• Interest in gaining practical industrial experience

• Physically able to lift and carry 45 kg

• Comfortable working in demanding conditions

• Ability to follow directions and work in a team

• Willing to stay in accommodations when necessary
