Overview
Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church is seeking a spiritually mature, mission-driven leader to serve as Pastor of Finance OR Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
This individual will provide oversight and leadership for all financial operations of the church and its ministries, including ALCA and Mother’s Day Out. Responsibilities include accounting, budgeting, payroll, reporting, compliance, audit oversight, and long-range financial planning.

- Manage accounting, budgeting, payroll, reporting, compliance, audit oversight, and long-range financial planning.
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team to ensure financial stewardship supports the church’s mission and ministry priorities.
- Supervise two part-time assistants and the Director of MDO.
- Collaborate with the pastoral staff, Head of Schools, ALCA School Board, and Stewardship Team.
- Spiritual maturity and a mission-driven mindset.
- Ability to provide strategic financial leadership and oversight for church operations.
