Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. Memorial Hospital Shiloh
, a 94-bed, all‑private suite hospital was recognized with Magnet status in 2018 and provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services plus critical care.
The Environmental Services Department of Memorial Hospital Shiloh is responsible for the hygiene and aesthetic cleanliness of the hospital internal physical environment including clean/sanitary laundry distribution and soiled linen pick‑up.
Preferred Qualifications Role PurposeThe Floor Finisher is responsible for cleaning and refinishing floors (buffing, stripping, waxing) on a regular basis, in accordance with standard procedures of the housekeeping department. May involve terminal cleaning of operating room suites.
Responsibilities- Performs floor care and project cleaning functions in assigned areas.
- Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedures.
- Handles hazardous and infectious waste properly.
- Reports defects to supervisor.
- Responds to emergency spills according to procedure.
