The Web / SharePoint Developer supports SDDC enterprise web environments by designing, developing, maintaining, and administering SharePoint and Microsoft 365–based portals and public-facing websites. This role supports classified and unclassified environments and provides full lifecycle development, integration, administration, and user support for SDDC web platforms.
Supported platforms include:
- SDDC NIPR Portal
- SDDC SIPR Portal
- SDDC Public-Facing Website
- TEA Public-Facing Website
- Design, document, develop, test, and maintain SharePoint portals, pages, sites, and web-enabled applications supporting SDDC business processes
- Participate in requirements definition sessions; analyze scope and develop technical design plans
- Create and maintain site collections, hub sites, sub-sites, pages, lists, libraries, workflows, and templates
- Build prototypes and support user testing and demonstrations
- Maintain and administer SharePoint server farms and enterprise-hosted environments
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of web front-end, application, central administration, and SQL components
- Execute content deployment jobs, security configuration, monitoring, and scheduled backups
- Perform SQL Server database creation, backups, queries, and audit log reviews
- Monitor disk usage, site health, and system performance across web environments
- Implement and maintain DISA STIGs for web and SharePoint systems
- Track outages, develop and manage POA&Ms, and support ASIs/Emergency ASIs as required
- Produce technical artifacts supporting Authorization to Operate (ATO) and Certification & Accreditation (C&A)
- Maintain SOPs and documentation to ensure continuity of operations
- Provide Tier II/III support for SDDC web users, including account management, access setup, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Respond to user requests within required timelines and track incidents through the ticketing system
- Assist Tier II Help Desk with portal-related tickets
- Maintain regular communication with users regarding status and resolution
- Coordinate with enterprise hosting providers and follow Army and DoD governance processes
- Participate in SharePoint Requirements Board (SRB), planning meetings, and migration activities
- Work closely with system administrators, developers, and functional stakeholders
- Train users and develop application training materials
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field
or equivalent relevant experience - 5+ years of experience in SharePoint and enterprise web development
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments in a regulated or DoD environment preferred
- Experience supporting public-facing and internal portals
Experience:
- SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server administration
- Microsoft 365 tools:
Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse - SQL Server fundamentals
- Configuration management and documentation
- DISA STIG implementation and security compliance
- Security+ CE certification
- Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint or Power Platform
