DescriptionC3EL is seeking a cleared professional to support our critical mission at Scott AFB in Illinois. This Service Now Visualization & Configuration Management (CM) Analyst will join our Digital Modernization Group on the Global Solutions Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract. This is a role for a Service Now power user who excels at creating data visualizations and has a background in CM.
As the Defense Information Systems Agency transitions to Service Now, your primary mission is to become the team's subject matter expert (SME) for data analysis and visualization. As a member of the CM team reporting to the CM Manager, you will step into a recently transitioned Service Now environment that is leveraging modern telecom modules (TSOM/TNI) and immediately design, deliver, and maintain critical visualizations to support team objectives.
While you perform core CM tasks, your main focus will be on leveraging your deep platform knowledge to extract, analyze, and present data in meaningful ways. If you love diving into Service Now to make the data tell a story, this is the perfect role for you.
- Advanced Data Visualization:
Design, deliver, and maintain a suite of complex data visualizations within Service Now. Serve as the team's SME for data visualization strategies, translating requirements into actionable insights. - Core CM:
Execute essential CM functions within the Service Now platform. Analyze change requests, conduct CI audits, and ensure accurate maintenance of relationships between circuits and equipment. - Data Integrity & Investigation:
Investigate and resolve data integrity issues within the CMDB and new telecom modules (TSOM/TNI), ensuring reliable data and platform operation. - Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
Act as the team's technical mentor on all things visualization, providing guidance and sharing best practices to help other analysts develop Service Now skills, and collaborate on team objectives.
- An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- 4-8 years of recent and relevant experience.
- Advanced Data Visualization
Skills:
Proven, advanced-level ability to create complex data visualizations in Service Now, with past experience building visualizations from the ground up. - Service Now Platform Knowledge:
Strong, hands‑on understanding of the Service Now platform, core ITSM processes, and the CMDB data model, comfortable navigating tables and data structures. - CM Foundation:
Strong foundation in CM principles and practices gained through prior experience. - Analytical & Problem‑Solving
Skills:
Highly analytical mindset with talent for troubleshooting data issues and translating complex requirements into functional visualizations.
- Telecom Module
Experience:
Experience with Service Now's telecommunications modules (TSOM/TNI). - Certifications:
Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Platform Analytics or other related technical certifications (ITIL, Security+). - Network Knowledge:
Practical understanding of the OSI model and how network circuits, services, and physical equipment interrelate.
- A Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field is required.
