Solutions Architect
A well‑designed secure network is critical for moving data and enabling the Department of Defense (DoD) to achieve its mission. As a Solutions Architect on our team, you will design and support the deployment of reliable, secure networks that support critical missions. You will collaborate with SMEs, customers, vendors, and users to understand strategic goals and operational needs, and you will lead the planning and implementation of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network, cloud, and security components.
ResponsibilitiesLead the design and deployment of secure, reliable networks to support DoD critical missions.
Collaborate with SMEs, customers, vendors, and users to capture strategic goals and operational requirements.
Plan acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network, cloud, and security components.
Resolve interoperability issues across platforms and support the acquisition of hardware.
Automate networking systems, modernize existing solutions, and leverage cloud technologies to broaden network engineering scope.
Guide senior leaders (CISO, CIO, CTO, and other executives) in building and executing cybersecurity capability maturation.
Experience selecting, designing, and implementing security tools and capabilities for large, complex federal or commercial organizations.
Experience with software inventory and vulnerability scanning, Dev Sec Ops pipeline integration and continuous ATO, and vendor risk management.
Experience architecting Zero‑Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800‑207 and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture.
Ability to work with and guide senior leaders (CISO, CIO, CTO) and executives to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation.
HS diploma or GED.
Secret clearance.
Experience building a unified view of software risk through automation and provenance of all software running on a network.
Experience in a cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership role.
Experience with innovative cybersecurity capabilities and product selection, including AI, machine learning, NGFW, and Big Data.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with eMASS.
Ability to meet DoW 8140 requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ per year (annualized USD). Work ModelRemote – may require occasional in‑person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
Hybrid – you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, and may also visit a customer facility.
On‑site – work will be performed primarily at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
