Job Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiology Med Surg – Shiloh, Illinois. Position within the Memorial Shiloh Med Surg Cardiac unit.

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following nursing care standards.
• Promote patient‑ and family‑centered care in a healing environment.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in professional development activities.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care with defined goals, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families.
• Proactively plan and communicate care plans across the continuum of care.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• Assess patient preferences, barriers to involvement, and cultural and spiritual needs.
• Maintain a state of constant alertness in this safety‑sensitive role.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license.
• No prior experience required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Telemetry experience.
