Radiation Oncology Nurse Coordinator (RN)
BJC Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology for a nursing job in Shiloh, Illinois, at Memorial Shiloh Siteman Bldg #2, Suite 160.
Location & ScheduleMonday‑Friday, Day shift 8:00‑4:30. No call, no weekends. Ongoing staff position.
OverviewMemorial Hospital Shiloh is a 94‑bed all‑private suite hospital recognized with Magnet status. The role coordinates health care for select patient populations across the continuum of care, including patient contact, education, preparation for procedures/tests, and collaboration with the health care team.
Responsibilities- Facilitate patient care by assessing and evaluating patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
- Coordinate the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care governed by evidence‑based clinical practice.
- Monitor care and data to optimize patient outcomes.
- Facilitate the education of patients and families.
- Act as a resource to the health care team.
- Ensure actions meet and support the overall goals of the business.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- 2–5 years of experience, with oncology and radiation oncology experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ RN experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Oncology experience.
- Radiation Oncology experience.
- Additional RN experience (2+ years).
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- 2–5 years of nursing experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
