Rapid Response​/Code Team Nurse - Part Time

Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse in the Rapid Response/Code Team provides hospital-wide emergency response and acts as a clinical resource for staff, offering guidance and education on less familiar procedures.

• Responds to emergencies such as Code Blue, White, CAT events, and traumas.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care within nursing standards.
• Educates patients and families on managing illnesses, medications, and post-treatment care.
• Promotes patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural factors.

• RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care or emergency department experience preferred.
• ACLS certification required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work alertly in safety-sensitive roles.

This role involves rotating shifts, including days and nights, and emphasizes professional development and patient-centered care.
