Clinical Nurse - Medical Surgical Cardiac

Role

Provides direct patient care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit, focusing on adult medical, surgical, and telemetry patients.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
• Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Maintain safety-sensitive responsibilities, requiring alertness and safe working conduct.

• Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Licensure as an RN is mandatory; no supervisory experience required.
• Preferred candidates have less than two years of experience and telemetry background.
