Med Surg Cardiac Nurse – Nights

This position involves providing direct patient care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The nurse will promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, and participate in safety and quality initiatives. Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients is essential. Critical nursing skills are required to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.

• Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing; RN licensure required
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience
• Experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry is preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a healthcare setting

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including patient assessments and care planning
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge needs
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
