ICU Clinical Nurse PRN

This position involves providing direct patient care in an ICU setting within a hospital that offers comprehensive medical, surgical, critical, and emergency services. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment needs.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to standards.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
• Respond to emergency situations, including Code Blue responses, and perform advanced procedures such as insertion of central lines, chest tubes, and monitoring device applications.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current RN license required.
• Preferred: 2+ years ICU experience; experience with advanced cardiac procedures is advantageous.
