Data Architecture SME

What will you be doing?

WWT is seeking a Data Architecture SME to serve as part of the Enterprise Architecture, Data and Engineering program supporting USTRANSCOM and associated COOCMs.

• Design and build relational databases. Perform data access analysis design and archive/recovery design and implementation.
• Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database. Work in a data warehouse environment, including data design, database architecture, and metadata repository creation.
• Translate business needs into long‑term architecture solutions.
• Define, design, and build dimensional databases.
• Develop data warehousing blueprints, evaluate hardware and software platforms, and integrate systems.
• Review and develop object and data models and the metadata repository to structure data for better management and quicker access.

• Candidate must have a MA/MS and/or 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Proficient with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
• Proficient with Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
• Proficient with Sparx EA modeling tool.
• Proficient with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN).
• Strong interviewing skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Meet DoD 8570.11‑IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE).
• DoD
  8140 DCWF (to be achieved on task).

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $95,000.00 to $ annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
