Maintenance Mechanic -Unlicensed; Night

Overview

Maintenance Mechanic - Unlicensed (Night) at Give and Go Prepared Foods. This role's primary responsibility is to carry out maintenance repairs, PMs, and equipment modifications related to production processes and facilities, following food safety and health & safety procedures and maintenance administrative procedures (e.g., filling out work orders and PM information). This is a night shift position.

• Perform all planned maintenance (Preventive & Predictive) in a timely manner and log all activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Repair equipment, capture root causes and countermeasures, and communicate with management and peers.
• Provide on-floor support to maintenance department members, including regular, off-shift, and weekend coverage as required.
• Assist in ongoing improvement of the work order system.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to implement permanent solutions.
• Develop and document maintenance procedures, one-point lessons, and a competency-based training program.
• Work as a team member on technical projects; perform additional tasks as required.

• Licensed millwright (e.g., 433A), Technician or Technologist Degree/Diploma related to maintenance/engineering; preference for electrical, mechanical, and robotics specialization.
• Ability to work with CMMS, complete planned maintenance tasks, and generate work orders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-intensity environment.
• Strong communication, learning and teaching skills; strong team player.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and regulations.
• Strong root cause analysis skills to identify permanent countermeasures.
• Strong MS Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Office suite.

Pay rate: $36.00-$40.00/hr
