Material Handler

Nature and Scope:
The Material Handler performs the movement of work in progress products through the various stages of manufacturing.

• Utilize the warehouse mobility system to track and log the movement of material from warehouse through manufacturing.
• Accurately complete all documentation associated with tasks performed.
• Keep work and staging areas clean and orderly.
• Follow directives issued by leads and supervisors.
• Prioritize and complete required tasks efficiently.
• Perform routine cleaning of the production area using various cleaning agents; don necessary PPE when required.
• Properly dispose of refuse and waste.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP & cGMP).
• Perform duties according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by management.
• Maintain inventory of scrubs, garments, and PPE.
• Transfer required paperwork and components throughout required areas.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock while keeping accurate records.
• Be willing to work overtime as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Warehouse or similar experience (preferred).
• Power jack/Lift jack certification (preferred).
• Computer proficiency – able to read, write, and count.
• Ability to work effectively with others.

• Physically able to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, and protective gloves.
• Use of pallet or hand jack to move material.
• Lift 10 pounds repeatedly for 5–6 hours.
• Lift 11–25 pounds occasionally for 1–2 hours.
• Lift up to 50 pounds routinely.

Expected Hourly Rate: $20.55. This rate is provided in good faith and may vary based on qualifications, experience, and other factors.
