2 Logistics Clerks for 1st shift
:
Schedule will be day shift but need some Saturday availability. This could mean Monday to Friday and rotate Saturdays or could also mean a Tuesday to Saturday rotating schedule. Candidates need to be flexible to be considered. Ask for more details during the interview.

Purpose of the job: Responsible for all receipts, verification and recording of raw materials and products that come into facilities as well as all shipping and product storing functions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Verify of incoming shipments information against invoices, orders, C.O.A, bills of lading or other records

  • Maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records

Check in inbound inventory and administer the processing when needed

  • Trace and track internal transfers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery

  • Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing the ERP/WMS System to maintain accurate inventory records

Verify receipts/ inter-Branch transfers (IBT) and log them according to required procedures

  • Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the daily receipt log

  • Regularly enter inventory data into ERP/WMS System on a timely basis

Advise management of cycle count/inventory issues on a timely basis

  • Process transactions for shipping functions, picking, staging and/or loading sales orders, including maintaining proper logs and verifying that complete orders can be shipped without damage while ensuring the accuracy of the task performed

Responsible for monitoring the returns and hold process
Experience
Minimum 2 years' related experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Job-Specific Knowledge and Skills

  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

  • Ability to quickly learn inhouse system

  • Deadline oriented with an ability to work with a sense of urgency

  • Basic knowledge of HACCP/GMP/Health & Safety requirements

  • Ability to work in a team, and/or under minimal supervision

  • Excellent organization skills, with an ability to work on multiple projects at a time

  • Must be able to handle fast paced environment with competing priorities and demands

  • Must have strong computer (MS Office) and project management skills

  • Execute deliverables of assignment as outlined

  • Stakeholder satisfaction and department credibility

  • Warehouse shipments are organized and properly communicated throughout the department

Key Responsibilities (Safety)

  • Follow company's health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes

  • Report all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses to your Supervisor

  • Use or wear safety equipment and personal protective equipment required by the company

  • Report to supervisor any hazardous or unsafe conditions, absence or defects in equipment and any contravention of health and safety legislation

Food Safety Responsibilities

  • Ensures food safety and food quality programs and procedures and applicable requirements of the SQF system is fully implemented and are followed at all times

  • Ensures there is a trained and competent backup on key personnel position

Communication Network - the key internal and external contacts the job is responsible for communication with on a regular and on-going basis and the purpose of the communication.

  • Internal Inventory Coordinator
    - Contribute to inventory counts and organization of materials

  • Internal Shippers & Receivers
    - Communicate delivery schedules and other inventory inflows/outflows

  • External Vendors
    - Book Appointments

Qualifications

  • Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions

  • Exposure to heavy machinery

  • Exposure to loud noises

  • Exposure to forklift and other machine traffic

  • Exposure to extreme heat

Requirement to lift up to 50lbs and work in a repetitive motion

Pay Details: $21.25 per hour
