Build real‑world skills in a unique agricultural export facility and gain skills in quality control, operations, and logistics, all while working as part of a supportive team during one of the busiest time of the year, the Summer Harvest. What you will be doing:

• Sampling incoming lorry loads of grain and carrying out quality checks before they are accepted into the site
• Monitoring the intake process and liaising with drivers to keep operations running smoothly
• Recording quality results and maintaining accurate data for internal quality control
• Flagging and escalating any issues where loads do not meet required standards
• Supporting the team with ship loading operations
  , including learning to operate the loading spout (working at height involved)
• Learning to use the control system that manages grain movement within the silos
• Gaining an understanding of grain storage conditions and how we maintain quality standards
• Getting involved in a wide range of practical, hands‑on tasks to help keep the site running efficiently

• Flexible working hours required during peak harvest – including occasional evenings and weekends depending on shipping schedules
• Active, physical role involving manual handling and time on your feet Includes working at height (full training provided)

At Bartholomews Agri Food Ltd, we provide a range of agricultural services and essential supplies to the farming community including the sale and marketing of grain, the sale and supply of agricultural seeds, the manufacture and supply of fertilisers, crop protection products, animal feeds, bird‑food and game feeds. We also provide technical advisory agronomy service to our farmer customers, and we are engaged in ongoing research and development through our extensive cereal crop trials.
