Role Description

The Automotive Body Technician role at Collision Tech, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position located in Shoreline, WA. The technician is responsible for assessing collision damage, performing structural and non-structural repairs, and restoring vehicles to manufacturer specifications. Daily tasks include disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components, repairing and replacing body panels, preparing surfaces for painting, and supporting paint application as needed.

The role also involves performing quality checks, maintaining a clean and safe work area, documenting repair work, and collaborating with estimators and other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of jobs.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Collision repair and Auto Body work, including structural and cosmetic repairs.
  • Experience with Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for various makes and models.
  • Knowledge of Paint preparation and refinishing processes, including surface prep and paint matching.
  • Ability to use automotive body tools, equipment, and measuring systems safely and effectively.
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical documentation.
  • Previous experience as an automotive body or collision repair technician preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., I-CAR) are a plus.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
