About the PositionAnimal Medical Center of Seattle is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Veterinary Dentist to build and shape a dentistry service in Shoreline, Washington. You will lead advanced dental care within a busy specialty hospital, performing complex dental procedures, oral surgery, and diagnostics while growing a dedicated dentistry caseload. You will work closely with specialists and emergency clinicians on challenging cases, partner with referring veterinarians, and provide clear, compassionate communication to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead advanced dental care and perform complex procedures and oral surgery.
- Develop caseload and grow dedicated dentistry service.
- Collaborate with specialists, emergency clinicians, and referring veterinarians.
- Shape workflows, standards, and guidance of dentistry at AMCS.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible Veterinary Dentist.
- Experience in a specialty hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong clinical autonomy and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication with clients.
You will be supported by an experienced hospital team and have administrative and operational support designed to help the service run smoothly and sustainably. Thoughtful scheduling and case flow create consistency and support work‑life balance. You will be part of a collaborative specialty team including Internal Medicine, Radiology, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Critical Care, and Emergency/ICU, creating an environment where complex cases benefit from seamless consultation.
FacilitiesAMCS provides a purpose‑built dental suite equipped to support efficient workflow, advanced diagnostics, and high‑level clinical care, including:
- 4 wet dental tables
- 4 IM3 Pro
2000 Ultra dental units - 4 digital intraoral radiography units
- Vet Cat Conebeam CT scanner
This position offers a base salary starting at $225,000, a production‑based compensation model, sign‑on bonus, and relocation assistance.
