The Human Resource (HR) Office welcomes your application to this HR Information System Analyst role which
serves as a technical and functional leader, partnering with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Operations, and Technology to ensure HR systems are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
As a core component of the College's structure, HR is responsible for the administration of recruitment/selection, compensation/benefits, performance management, employee/labor relations, training and development, and employment law compliance.
Primary responsibilities include the following:- Lead ctcLink (People Soft) operational support for Human Capital Management (HCM) and Faculty Workload (FWL) work units; serve as the point person for internal/external partners for assigned pillars.
- Design scalable HRIS solutions across modules (reporting, onboarding, compensation, workflows, integrations).
- Lead HRIS initiatives and enhancements, owning timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Build dashboards and advanced reporting for HR leadership and business partners, performing trend analysis across retention, compensation, and workforce metrics.
- Translate business requirements into system configurations and reporting structures with evaluation of impacts across payroll, compliance, and integrations.
- Ensure data accuracy through audits and reconciliation.
- Provides production support, resolves system problems, writes queries and reports, and assists the work units in setting operational practices and disseminating system information.
- Collect/download and provide data for various internal and external reporting and projects.
- Partner with internal and external teams on system integrations and enhancements.
- Prepare and administer the Payroll budget, including staffing recommendations and operational requirements within allocated funding.
- Coordinate training, communication of end-user documentation. Provides documentation as needed on software features.
- Manage and supervise staff; recruit, train, coach and assure performance, building an effective team that is responsive to the needs of the College.
- Comply with collective bargaining agreements and College policies and procedures; resolve issues ensuring mutual respect and tolerance for varying points of view.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation and support audit readiness.
- Perform other duties as assigned (of a similar nature or level).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Two (2) years of experience working within a Human Resources Department
- Three (3) years of experience in a technical and/or functional role providing business analysis and/or systems support for a college administrative information system and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) or other complex information system
- Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point
- ctcLink and other systems or program applicable to Payroll/Benefits
- Database systems such as HP 3000, ctcLink, etc, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic math and computations used to calculate and reconcile payroll and benefits
- Managerial theories/principles, including the principles and practices of effective supervision
- Systems analysis, SQL or other coding language, and basic HTML programming
- Project management tools and best practices
