Repair and Tool Technician

Overview

Repair and Tool Technician at The Home Depot — responsible for the evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. This position supports customer repair needs and maintains equipment in the Tool Rental Center in stores or in repair centers.

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
• Provide service to store customers in Tool Rental, including writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs.
• Ensure tools are operating properly and demonstrate their proper use as needed.
• Support day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the Tool Rental department.
• In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for quality, and cleaned prior to returning to the originating store.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all tools and effectively manage tool inventory by maintaining and repairing tools as necessary.

Base pay range: $24.00/hr - $24.00/hr
