POSITION
PURPOSE:
The Administrative Assistant & Staff Scheduler provides administrative support to school leadership while serving as the primary coordinator for staff scheduling and daily coverage. This role is critical to the smooth operation of the school and requires strong organizational skills, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced educational environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Create, maintain, and adjust daily and long-term staff schedules to ensure proper student support when absences occur.
- Monitor staff attendance, time off requests, and schedule changes.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure adequate coverage for instructional and support needs.
- Maintain scheduling systems and ensure accuracy of scheduling data.
- Work with testing coordinators to organize staff coverage on testing days.
- Maintain positive, professional relationships and use appropriate verbal, nonverbal, and written communication with all individuals.
- Update Start Page with staff absences throughout the day.
- Respond to unexpected scheduling or operational issues with professionalism and urgency.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cover Front Desk on a rotation with other administrative assistants for lunch breaks and when the receptionist is absent.
- Support building principal with assigned tasks and projects.
- Support Human Resources with office work and/or projects as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/
EXPERIENCE:
- High School completion
- Minimum 1 year experience at LGA.
- Knowledge of Lionsgate Academy Employee Handbook policies
- Proficient in use of Paycom, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Drive, and navigating Info Central.
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems/software to complete the functions of the position.
