The Spare Parts Specialist is a pivotal member of the Aftermarket team. This is a front-facing role where you will regularly interact directly with customers daily. You will manage multiple customer accounts with exceptional people skills and attentiveness. The Spare Parts Specialist maintains strong relationships with our customers as they handle aftermarket parts orders, from PO awarded through to delivery. In this role, you will quickly resolve concerns affecting customer orders to ensure that PAR Systems continues to deliver excellent product and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately book purchase orders into the ERP system and initiate material procurement and resource scheduling
  • Evaluate proposals and their resulting purchase orders coming in in many formats, ensuring alignment
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Shipping/Receiving, and Quality) to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
  • Proactively communicate order status, lead times, and updates to customers to ensure satisfaction and transparency
  • Track orders from purchase to delivery/warranty, resolving issues related to delays, shortages, or miscommunications
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, order details, and resolution outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing consistent and professional service
  • Prepare order shipping documentation for a smooth handoff to the logistics specialist for domestic and international customers
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to spare parts fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and internal process efficiency
  • Occasionally assist with inventory verification, data entry, or reporting as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures

We offer market competitive pay and benefits based upon the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Our starting rate of pay for this hourly position is targeted at $24.00 - $29.00 per hour and is eligible to receive overtime pay based on federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field in a manufacturing environment in lieu of degree.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills are required to coordinate the efforts and information between teams and customers.
  • Proficiency with office computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Basic estimating/procurement experience
  • US Person
