Special Education Programs Supervisor

Lionsgate Academy’s mission is designed to educate students living with Autism and other learning differences and is seeking a mission-driven Special Education Programs Supervisor to lead our Center Based program. Salary range: $55,000-$75,000 (197 duty days)

• Provide leadership and oversight to high-needs, center-based classrooms on the Shoreview Campus
• Direct student programming and supervise due process paperwork
• Actively coach and supervise teachers in behavior management
• Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver behavioral and academic/functional programming
• Support students with significant cognitive disabilities in accessing education in the least restrictive environment
• A partner and visible presences for students, staff, and families
• Active collaborator in school leadership and crisis team

• 5 or more years working in Special Education including working with students with autism and developmental cognitive (DCD) delays
• Preferred: BCBA certification, experience with STAR, Attainments or other curriculum that addresses functional skills
• Preferred: 2 years or more as a Supervisor or informal Leader
• Experience with augmentative communication (AAC) devices
• Experience as an instructional coach/mentor for special education teacher
