ProductSpecialist II at TSI
As a Product Specialist, you will support our Air Management products designed to provide critical measurements in buildings (HVAC, indoor air quality, room pressure). This role will also develop and implement marketing programs in cooperation with a Marketing Communications Specialist and a Product Manager. The Product Specialist supports customers, sales, and channel readiness, acting as a technical resource in the area of product knowledge and application, conducting product training/demos and engaging on the appropriate standards committees.
This individual supports Global Product Managers, by engaging and participating in continuation engineering and new product development projects. The Product Specialist also implements marketing programs, in cooperation with the marketing communications group.
In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will:
- Research, develop and provide information to support customers, sales, and channel partners through verbal and written communication
- Create and develop marketing content for literature, sales tools, application notes, technical bulletins, website, and other marketing vehicles
- Consult with representatives, distributors, and customers to support sales efforts, conduct training, and provide demonstrations
- Play a key role in product launches, helping develop application guidance, contributing expertise to launch materials, delivering training, and supporting sales team members as they learn new products
- Support Product Manager with Voice of Customer activities
- Keep current with standards, codes, regulations, industry knowledge, and best practices in the field
- Represent TSI products through participation and presentations in technical conferences, trade shows, chapter meetings, publications, seminars, and symposiums
- Engage and contribute to industry associations and act as an expert consultant on assigned solutions
- Review and document modifications to standard products
- Participate on industry standards committees, as needed
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or industry-related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a product support role required; preferably in a technical, customer-facing capacity
- Technical aptitude for product application
- Experience communicating and presenting technical information to a wide range of audiences
- Solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and best practices in the field
- Ability to effectively communicate and present technical information to a wide range of audiences
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
- Solid analytical, decision making, problem solving, and research skills
- Continuous learner driven to succeed and achieve significant results
- Experience with direct Testing & Balancing and interacting with HVAC customers (contractors, TAB firms, facility managers, consultants, engineers)
- Familiarity with critical environment applications (clean rooms, biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, hospital isolation rooms, ORs)
- Understanding of IAQ/ventilation-related codes (ASHRAE 62.1/62.2, ASHRAE 170 for healthcare)
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO 14644, USP 797/800 for clean rooms and pharma
- Familiarity with wireless connectivity, software integration, and data management platforms
