Job DescriptionPosted Monday, June 29, 2026 at 6:00 AM
The age of automation is upon us, so join a company that pushes the limits of innovation. PAR Systems is a world leader in the design and development of cutting-edge automation and control systems for Aerospace, Life Science, and Nuclear markets. We design advanced nuclear fuel handling solutions that demand absolute precision, safety, and reliability. We are seeking an Advanced Verification & V&V Engineer to help ensure our engineered systems perform exactly as intended—and that performance can be clearly demonstrated through disciplined testing, documentation, traceability, and audit-ready evidence.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in V&V, systems engineering, or quality within a regulated industry who is ready to take on greater technical ownership. You will support verification and validation activity planning and execution, analyze requirements traceability, and collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and project teams from design through commissioning.
While V&V will be the primary focus of this role, project needs may occasionally require support for adjacent engineering activities. Depending on your background and experience, you may periodically contribute to mechanical design, controls engineering, or software development tasks when V&V workload allows. This provides an opportunity to stay closely connected to the design process, broaden technical capability, and strengthen the overall quality and testability of PAR's engineered systems.
SuccessCriteria
Success in this role means delivering verification and validation work that strengthens safety, quality, and customer confidence.
You will help ensure system, integration, and acceptance testing is well planned, thoroughly documented, and completed with no unresolved critical defects. You will ensure clear requirements traceability is maintained from design inputs through test evidence, confirming that every deliverable is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
You will contribute to V&V process improvements, support compliance with applicable standards such as NQA-1, IEEE, and IEC, and help strengthen consistency across projects. Through strong communication and collaboration, you will work with Engineering, Quality, and Project Management to keep analytical reports and testing activities aligned with technical requirements, schedules, and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in Verification & Validation, Systems Engineering, Software Quality, or Quality Engineering in a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, defense, medical device, or similar.
- Strong understanding of requirements management, configuration management, and requirements traceability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, audit-ready documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, quality, and project teams.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and ownership skills to ensure adequate follow-through with multiple interacting tasks.
- U.S. Person
- Experience supporting software V&V activities in accordance with IEEE 1012, IEEE 829 or similar standards.
- Familiarity with NQA-1, nuclear quality assurance programs, or other highly regulated quality systems.
- Experience with automation systems, controls, robotics, nuclear handling systems, remote equipment, or fuel transfer systems.
