A client of Innova Solutions is hiring for a Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist III - Floater position. This is a Full time Contract role located in Shoreview, Minnesota 55126 with an anticipated duration of 2 months.

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established practices and procedures.
• Maintain direct patient contact, explain procedures, and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while performing phlebotomy in a skilled, safe, and accurate manner.
• Verify patient demographic information and initials post-venipuncture to confirm tubes are labeled correctly and match patient identity.
• Maintain required records and documentation.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Work Experience:
  
  1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections; 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred; keyboard/data entry experience desired.

Pay Range: $21 - $25 per hour. The final offer will depend on factors including education, experience, location, job duties, and certifications.
