Pharmacy Intern; 2nd Year

Overview

This internship will be responsible for assisting in formulary management and the post-Pharmacy and Therapeutics implementation process. This is a casual position with the expectation of approximately 6-8 hours per week.

• Assisting in maintaining and updating medication information on our internal department website.
• Developing medication monographs.
• Performing small medication use evaluations.
• Assisting with drug information questions.

• A second-year pharmacy student that is experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Other skills that are preferred: previous data and analytics experience and a strong understanding of statistics.

• Enrolled as a Student at an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy beginning Fall
• Finished First Year of Pharmacy School
• Excellent customer service skills, proficient in English language, capable of solving problems effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, and competent mathematical skills

• Enrolled as a Student at the University of Minnesota School of Pharmacy
• Pharmacy experience in infusion therapies, retail and/or hospital setting
• Minnesota Pharmacy Intern License

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
