Pharmacy Technician III - Specialty

Fairview -  - Responsibilities:
Complete intake process for mail order, specialty, transplant, and limited distribution pharmacy patients including new patient enrollment, insurance verification, and medication refill and delivery schedule;
Under the direction of the pharmacist, receive prescription/orders from patients, process manually or using the appropriate computer system and protocols in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements;
Coordinate ordering, delivery of medications, supplies and equipment to patients and clinical areas as requested;
Back up phone coverage, data collection, reporting, process improvement and maintenance of patient education materials;
Data entry, requesting, and following up on refill requests; processing Medicare and transplant claims and working on high level adjudicated claims
