Pharmacy Technician II - Specialty

Fairview -  - Responsibilities:
Complete intake process for mail order, specialty, transplant, and limited distribution pharmacy patients including new patient enrollment, insurance verification, and medication refill and delivery schedule.;
Under the direction of the pharmacist, receive prescription/orders from patients, process manually or using the appropriate computer system and protocols in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements.;
Provide telephone support to pharmacy patients, providers and pharmacies ensuring that patients are eligible for and receive prescribed medications in an accurate and timely manner via appropriate delivery methods.;
Responsible for patient tracking, customer service, issue resolution and escalation.
