Work Schedule:Part-time, 186 duty days

Pay:Steps and lanes are in accordance with the teacher labor agreement

- Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health in Occupational Therapy
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to employ high expectations for students using a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media
- Knowledge and experience with due process procedures
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for children with significant delays in motor development
- Assist with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP); assists case manager in establishing students' goals and objectives; completes appropriate components of a student's IEP
- Maintain documentation related to third party billing
- Complete re-evaluations including writing evaluation reports
- Maintain and complete progress notes, consultation notes, and/or letters
- Develop and demonstrate culturally responsive practices that lead to equitable outcomes for all students, particularly those groups of students that are over-represented in special education
- Demonstrate proactive response to support students with emotional regulation difficulties
- Provide instruction in strategies to support students in developing social emotional skills for success
- Demonstrate current knowledge of instructional best practices and methodology for school based Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Collaborate with others to plan, teach and support students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment
- Advocate for students with disabilities to ensure high levels of achievement
- Promote and develop strong communication and collaboration with staff, parents and other professionals
