Job Overview
We anticipate the application window for this opening will close on 22 Jul 2026. Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Program Manager to join its Global Supply Chain team.
Location:
Minneapolis, Minnesota or Lafayette, Colorado. The role requires onsite presence four days per week.
- Develop, advocate, and execute supply‑chain transformation projects aligned with business and enterprise strategies.
- Apply Six Sigma, Lean, and project‑management principles to deliver practical solutions and significant improvement results.
- Lead projects from initiation through successful completion; create project charters, schedules, and key milestones.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage program risks and issues that impact progress.
- Prepare change‑readiness plans and guide stakeholders through change initiatives.
- Influence and manage cross‑functional relationships across Operations, Finance, GSC, Sourcing, Quality, Marketing, Distribution, and Customer Service.
- Interface with IT for project‑based system needs.
- Communicate status and results to senior staff and leadership regularly.
- Perform supply‑chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, vendor selection, and distribution.
- Create integrated processes among internal functions and external suppliers.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material‑control systems to reduce costs and streamline operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with project‑management tools.
- Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, manage timelines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Project‑management experience with a proven record of project execution.
- Capacity to lead, energize, and influence change at all organizational levels.
- Hands‑on experience managing cross‑functional projects.
- Green Belt certification.
- Experience in global network design and implementation of projects.
