Pay Range

The starting pay range for this position per hour is $23.75 - $25.75. The full pay range for this position per hour is $23.75 - $40.40. Pay is based on several factors including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
• Model, train, and coach team members to deliver on the Guest Service Model culture.
• Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices, being authentic, respectful, and creating equitable experiences.
• Plan daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals, including merchandising sets, planograms, sales plans, events, and promotions.
• Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing best practices during onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through coaching.
• Develop, coach, and lead a team of consultants who are knowledgeable and passionate.
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns.
• Encourage use of tools available in the department to welcome, inspire, and influence guests with personalized recommendations.
• Partner with third‑party vendors to ensure brand standards and merchandising are met and areas are full and maintained.
• Support the team in execution of changes and updates to merchandise sets and visual presentations.
• Create inspiring visual moments by ensuring product is signed, merchandised, and organized to support seasonal trends.
• Support the direct leader in leading assigned department area backroom processes, organization, layout, and replenishment.
• Participate in team hiring and onboarding processes.
• Ensure fitting rooms are welcoming, clean, and safe.
• Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; hold team accountable to safety expectations.
• Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling safe behaviors, recognizing safe practices, and reporting incidents.
• Model the execution of physical security processes to enhance the in‑store security culture.
• Support merchandise protection strategies, including ordering, storage, and application.
• Address all store emergency and compliance needs.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU), and Drive‑up (DU).
• Model a welcoming experience by greeting guests, engaging and helping solve their needs, and thanking them for shopping at Target.
• All other duties as assigned based on business needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18 or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Leadership ability:
  Develop, coach, evaluate, and retain team members.
• Strong communication skills, including on multi‑frequency devices and handheld scanners.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective at multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, welcoming attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to clearly interpret instructions, reports, and information.
• Accurate handling of cash register operations.
• Physical ability to lift and move merchandise up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Reliability and prompt attendance.
• Capability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other environmental conditions.
• Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.
