Electronic Repair Technician
What does a successful Electronic Repair Technician do at Fiserv? You will join the team at our Shoreview, MN location and receive training on how to repair our world class Plastic Card Personalization equipment. You will perform difficult and complex technical maintenance duties. Your role will involve following a preventative maintenance schedule for our production machines and electrical/electronic equipment. Additionally, you will need to ensure the completion of your assigned maintenance work orders and regularly check the progress of your work throughout the facility.
What you will do:- Perform disassembly, repair, or replacement of parts and/or production equipment
- Conduct fitting and alignment of mechanical components for proper functioning
- Utilize troubleshooting techniques to provide temporary and long‑term fixes to minimize downtime
- Diagnose and correct maintenance issues on Credit Card Personalization Equipment, Mail Inserters, Cut Sheet Printers, Laser Printers, and Card Affixing equipment
- Analyze and interpret schematic diagrams for electronic troubleshooting
- A high school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of progressive maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting
- Willing to go back to school to earn a degree or certification
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience using a computer for data entry
- Experience with using hand tools like drill, screwdriver, and soldering equipment
- Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics or equivalent Military training and background
- 5+ years of production maintenance with electronic repair experience
- Experience with Bell & Howell Inserters
- Experience with Entrust (formerly Data Card), MX, and DX Embossing equipment
- Experience with Xerox Cut Sheet Printers
- Experience with Laser Engraving equipment
- You will work the following schedule and hours: 3rd shift – 10:30 pm to 6:30 am;
Sunday – Thursday, with overtime as needed - You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas, including but not limited to F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role
$50,000.00 – $66,000.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in Minnesota. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
