The Will Group is seeking a licensed Senior Architect to lead K–12, commercial, and private-sector projects within an integrated architecture and engineering environment.
In this role, you’ll guide projects from concept through construction, collaborate closely with in-house structural, civil, and MEP teams, and serve as a trusted partner to school districts, commercial clients, and private owners.
Note:
This role is based in Shorewood, IL and reports to the Director of Architecture in Mattoon, IL, collaborating closely across both locations.
- Lead architectural projects from programming through construction administration
- Translate client goals, budgets, and schedules into functional, code-compliant designs
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated solutions
- Lead client meetings, design workshops, and stakeholder presentations
- Oversee construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and site visits
- Maintain design quality, technical accuracy, and constructability across projects
- Licensed Architect with a
B.Arch or M.Arch - 10+ years of professional experience, including K–12 and commercial/private-sector projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience in an integrated architecture and engineering firm
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills

Salary Range:$90,000–$135,000 annually
