The Will Group is growing, and we're looking for a Design Engineer – Electrical Distribution to join our expanding utility engineering team. If you have experience designing electric distribution systems and want to work on impactful infrastructure projects supporting leading utilities such as Commonwealth Edison and other Exelon operating companies, we'd like to talk with you.
Responsibilities- Design overhead and underground distribution systems
- Perform engineering analysis including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, and protection studies
- Support grid modernization and infrastructure improvement initiatives
- Collaborate directly with utility clients, municipalities, and project teams
- Contribute to projects that improve reliability, resiliency, and system performance across the electric grid
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- PE license required
- 5+ years of utility or utility consulting experience
- Distribution design experience (overhead and/or underground)
- Experience with tools such as CYME, Synergi, ETAP, or similar
