Senior Engineering Manager – Electrical Distribution TWG Engineering | Wheaton or Shorewood, IL| Hybrid
TWG Engineering is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager – Electrical Distribution to lead engineering teams supporting Com Ed and other Exelon utility programs.
This role is ideal for a utility engineering leader with experience managing overhead and underground distribution projects, mentoring teams, and working directly with utility clients in a consulting environment.
What You’ll Do- Lead engineering and design teams supporting utility distribution programs
- Manage project execution, schedules, quality, and client coordination
- Provide technical oversight for distribution systems (4kV–34.5kV)
- Support grid modernization and infrastructure improvement initiatives
- Partner directly with Com Ed and Exelon stakeholders
- 8+ years in electrical distribution engineering
- Leadership or project management experience
- Utility consulting or Com Ed/Exelon program experience
- Strong technical understanding of overhead and underground distribution systems
- PE license preferred
- Growing and entrepreneurial engineering organization
- High-impact utility infrastructure work

The annual starting salary for this position is between $145,000 to $160,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
