Clearance Lead Job Overview
The Clearance Lead is responsible for real time analysis, assisting with the coordination and balancing of DC Clearance/Shipping operations, and assisting in the balancing of man power for all areas. Other responsibilities include:
This role assigns picking/loading tasks for all production employees, supports the Clearance/Shipping Manager to ensure all tasks flow smoothly for the production crew, accurately records and reports the truck/trailer numbers for outgoing deliveries, and supports the Clearance/Shipping Manger to ensure all End of day (EOD) tasks are completed. Records/reports the truck/trailer numbers for outgoing deliveries Provides support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner Provides administrative support for the Clearance/Shipping Manger Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems All other duties as assigned.

Core Competencies & Expertise Knowledge and understanding of distribution center and warehouse operations. Strong leadership skills and capabilities. Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie. Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize trends or patterns in productivity data. Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.

CompensationStarting hourly pay at $20.00 - $23.00/hour (Based on experience)

Minimum Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
