Responsible for the timely, safe and accurate receipt and sorting of goods collected from donors at Attended Donation Centers.
Essential Duties- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Pre-sort and sort donations as received.
- Safely and efficiently load products for shipment, maintaining clean and safe working areas.
- Ensure that all organizational policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain effective communication with the ADC Manager and Transportation team.
The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education, Experience and Certifications- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- No previous experience required.
- No professional certifications required.
- Not required to drive as part of job duties.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Associates designated as “floaters” must be able to travel to multiple locations for work.
- Combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential duties will be accepted.

Information Privacy and SecurityThis associate may have access to Confidential Information and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.
Physical Demands and Work Environment- Required to lift 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
- Work in an environment with frequent exposure to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
- Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs dictate.

Job SummaryThis job request is for a donation attendant to work the Short Pump ADC. The applicant must have excellent customer service skills, reliable transportation, and be able to work in a team environment with other associates harmoniously. The applicant must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs., lift 25 lbs. over the head and push or pull up to 500 lbs.
The applicant’s hours to work are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each week from 9:30am to 6:00pm each work day.
