Strange’s is seeking a part‑time Floral Delivery Driver to operate within the Short Pump location. The driver is responsible for the prompt delivery of all assigned goods/orders while maintaining a positive professional demeanor that supports company morale.

Job status:
Part‑time.

Hours:

25‑28 hours per week.

Location:

12111 W Broad St, Henrico VA 23233.

Applicants must provide a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. Experience driving a delivery van preferred.

Additional hours during Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas holidays.

• Maintains cleanliness of delivery vehicles
• Completes daily tasks assigned by management
• Communicates with management on the status of all deliveries
• Completes routes and deliveries promptly
• Loads and unloads delivery vehicles in a timely manner
• Updates the system according to delivery completion
• Organizes, cleans, and maintains safety of the garage/warehouse space
• Assists with processing floral shipments (including cleaning buckets)
• Checks delivery vehicle daily to ensure safe transportation

Strange’s is seeking a part‑time greenhouse team member with greenhouse or green industry experience for the Mechanicsville greenhouse. The role involves maintaining greenhouse operations, maintenance, order fulfillment, and organization as well as completing tasks given by management.

Scheduling: 3 days a week 8 AM – 5 PM.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Assists customers and presents them with product information
• Operates the greenhouse register
• Participates in unloading trucks
• Waters and restocks greenhouse inventory daily
• Communicates frequently with management regarding possible greenhouse product issues such as disease or pest problems
• Maintains cleanliness of greenhouse area – weeding, sweeping, power washing, scrubbing tables, etc.
• Participates in greenhouse temperature controls
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management

Strange’s is seeking a part‑time Customer Service Associate to oversee the customer service desk at the Short Pump location.

Part‑time.

Hours:

25‑28 hours per week.

Location:

Short Pump, VA 23233.

Scheduling: 3–4 days a week (must include 1 weekend day).

• Welcome customers as they enter the facility
• Assist in printing tags for greenhouse product
• Sort incoming mail
• Assist in preparing store signage
• Answer phones and direct customers on product location
• Process refunds or returns
• Respond to online inquiries when needed
• Accept and enter payments on customer accounts
• Manage the express checkout lane during busy seasons
• Complete other assorted tasks provided by management

Strange’s has a position opening for a part‑time garden center product Delivery Driver at the Short Pump location.

Hours:

25‑28 hours per week.

Scheduling:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8 AM – 5 PM (+ Saturdays during Christmas and spring seasons).

Applicants must be able to provide a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record. Experience driving a small box truck preferred.

• Maintains cleanliness of delivery vehicles
• Completes daily tasks assigned by management
• Communicates with management on the status of all deliveries
• Completes routes and deliveries of plant product promptly
• Updates the system according to delivery completion
• Organizes, cleans, and maintains safety of the garage/warehouse space
• Checks delivery vehicle daily to ensure safe transportation
• When not on delivery, assist with general facility maintenance and special projects

Strange’s has a position opening for a part‑time floral customer service associate at the Short Pump location. The Floral Customer Service Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service per company standards and receiving/processing sales efficiently through POS systems. The essential candidate has outstanding customer service skills and maintains a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Pay rate to be discussed during the interview process.

Scheduling: 3 days a week – must be available to work 1 day on the weekends consistently.

Job responsibilities:

• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
• Greets and assists customers with their floral selections and shopping experience
• Assist in the preparation of sales displays
• Answer phones and complete POS transactions
• Takes customer orders both over the phone and in store
• Present the customer with product information
• Wrap bouquets and gift baskets
• Stock shelves and price product
• Assist in BOH tasks such as cleaning buckets, processing floral shipments, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
