Emergency Response: Act as a first responder for OB emergencies, utilizing advanced assessment skills to stabilize patients until the physician arrives.
Surgical Support: Function as a key member of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care and circulation for C-section procedures.
Couplet Care & Postpartum: Seamlessly transition between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care, supporting the bonding and recovery of mother and baby.
Triage & Assessment: Manage the 2-bed triage area, performing initial evaluations and determining the appropriate level of care.
Multidisciplinary Support: Collaborate with 24/7 on-unit Respiratory Therapists, OB Scrub Techs, and Health Unit Coordinators.
Required QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 3 years of professional Labor & Delivery experience; C-section experience is mandatory.
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse License.
Certifications: Must hold current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
